01 · The story
A man wakes beneath an ocean suspended in his bedroom ceiling, and must confront the memories he has kept beneath its waves.

02 · Original concept direction
The early visual intentions behind this world. The finished film may take the story somewhere different.
Raw 16mm intimacy, apricot plaster, and ice-green upside-down surf make a domestic room impossibly heavy. A dry desert remains visible through the window. Leaving means admitting that love cannot require him to live inside the mechanism of a death; the ocean does not politely disappear when he closes the door.
A widower’s bedroom ceiling becomes the ocean that took his husband. Each night it lowers, and each morning everyone else insists the room has always been underwater.
