Important
Scam Alert.
We're aware of fraudulent messages and fake job offers using the AIM name, our logo, or the names of AIM team members. This page explains how to verify a real AIM communication, what we will never do, and how to report a scam.
What AIM will never do
- Ask you to pay a fee to apply, interview, be onboarded, or start work.
- Ask you to buy equipment, gift cards, crypto, or training from a specific vendor.
- Send a job offer over WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, or Instagram DM without a prior conversation through an official AIM email address.
- Ask for bank details, government ID, or tax forms before a verified contract is in place.
- Hire through anonymous Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, or “@aim-careers,” “@aimworld-hr,” “@aimstudio-jobs” style addresses.
How to verify a real AIM communication
- Legitimate AIM email addresses end in @aimworld.ai. Any other domain is not us.
- Real recruiting goes through people@aimworld.ai or a named producer at an @aimworld.ai address.
- If you're unsure, forward the message to security@aimworld.ai and we'll confirm.
Common red flags
- An offer that arrives without an application, interview, or any prior contact.
- Pressure to act within minutes or hours.
- Requests to move the conversation to a personal messaging app immediately.
- Misspellings of “AIM,” “AIM World,” “AIM Previz,” or our team's names.
- A “check” you must deposit and then partially wire back.
If you were targeted
Stop replying, don't send money or documents, and report the message to security@aimworld.ai with the sender address, screenshots, and any phone number used. Where appropriate also report to your local consumer-protection authority, the platform the message was sent on, and — in the U.S. — the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov.
Our position
AIM has no affiliation with anyone using our name to solicit fees, recruit through unofficial channels, or sell training. We pursue impersonation actively with hosting and platform providers. Thank you for helping us protect candidates, partners, and the AIM name.
