The brief

A worldwide system of experiential previz for Kiehl's — pop-up architecture, hero-product pavilions, and high-street window dressings, all blocked and pre-rendered in AIM PREVIZ before a single panel was milled. Six environments, one apothecary language, deployed by Kiehl's brand and retail teams from New York and SoHo to Asia-Pacific flagship districts.

Kiehl's came to us directly. The brief was to make their hero formulas legible at street scale — Powerful Lift Concentrated Cream, Ultra Facial Glow Serum, Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution — without ever letting the work look like signage. The answer was to treat each pop-up as architecture: scale the jar to the size of a pavilion, treat the serum bottle as a column, let the storefront window do the formulation chart.

Every activation in this set was resolved end-to-end inside AIM PREVIZ before anyone touched build. Site context, sun position, foot-traffic sightlines, copy hierarchy, and product hero placement were all approved as motion — so what shipped to fabrication, retail, and the global marketing org was already the final film of the experience, not a rendering of a possibility.

The work spans two formats running in parallel: free-standing public pavilions (Central Park, SoHo cobblestones, plaza activations across APAC) and a flagship apothecary-window system applied across Kiehl's owned-retail footprint. Same vocabulary — green marble surround, gold serif lockup, oversized hero product, single tactile claim — tuned per market, per formula, per season.

The engagement is the cleanest case study we have for previz-as-deliverable on the brand-direct side: no agency layer, no production company in the middle, just Kiehl's brand stewards and AIM working the file until the activation was inevitable.
