Before the cut.

The early visual intentions behind this world. The finished film may take the story somewhere different.

Rain, cathedral stone, and red neon reflection are the whole instrument panel here. The wet-ground light and the plaza's emptiness give the city center the feel of a real recurring set rather than a mood-board composite. The tone sits somewhere between pulp detective fiction and civic haunting.

The first premise

A masked investigator stalks the flooded midnight center of Mexico City, tracking crimes that vanish at sunrise as if the plaza itself refuses to testify.
