01 · The story
A guardian defends a little girl on a sky bridge from relentless incoming threats.

02 · Original concept direction
The early visual intentions behind this world. The finished film may take the story somewhere different.
A farewell epic shot inside a photoreal fantasy world whose game interface has become monumental architecture: the boss's health bar hangs across the sky like a bridge of amber glass, respawn beacons burn on every hill like chapels, and damage numbers fall through the air like weather. The formal rule is ceremony: the film never shows a fight that anyone wants to win, and the boss — patient, ancient, and quietly grateful for the company — is never defeated, because defeating it would end the night early. It is a movie about what a place is worth when everyone agrees to be there at the same time, and the most crowded wide shot in the slate is also the saddest.
On the last night before the servers of a twenty-year-old world go dark forever, four hundred thousand players log in one final time — not to save it, but to gather in the old arena and lose to the final boss together, one last time, on purpose.
