La Bru Beer Heist

La Bru Beer Heist

An AI-assisted brand film for La Bru Brewery, commissioned by Michel Rothschild and Marcos Cline-Márquez. The narrative tracks a beer truck from the cobblestone streets of Morelia, Mexico into Los Angeles, staged as a fictional UGC chase that culminates at Northgate Supermarket in Costa Mesa to mark La Bru's U.S. retail launch.

The film is constructed as a layered document: helicopter footage, influencer livestreams, and security-camera angles, all generated and composited through a controlled production pipeline. The form intentionally mirrors how a real event of this scale would surface online.

The project is one of the clearest demonstrations of AIM's working thesis on applied AI: that the technology is most valuable when it unlocks ambition for clients who could not otherwise afford a film of this scope, and when it amplifies — rather than replaces — the creative and production team executing the work.

The campaign produced 2,159 AI-crafted photo assets, 984 raw cinematic scenes, and 40 final cuts. "Leaked" footage and influencer reactions seeded the rollout across TikTok and Instagram — a fully integrated piece of brand fiction rather than a single hero film.
