The ad industry loves to talk about Metaverses, AI, and diversity, but Pakko got the chance to go beyond buzzwords with an Australia-based startup backed by A16Z. This team believed Web3 should be engaging and authentic—not just a collection of buzzwords. They rejected the idea of AI-generated scripts as a substitute for the raw, human essence of a brand and embraced diversity as something natural, not forced.
The project, nearly a year in the making, required endless patience to perfect brand assets, navigate approvals, and finalize development. For Pakko, it also marked the culmination of a decade-long wait to finally team up with Colin Corcoran, whom he first met at Ayzenberg during a Batman: Arkham Knight pitch in 2014. Their combined effort, fueled by a shared and slightly twisted sense of humor, resulted in an R-rated online adventure that broke the mold of conventional Web3 storytelling.
This project’s fearless creativity and commitment to authenticity align with AIM’s ethos of bringing humanity and ingenuity to every campaign. And if you don’t like it… well, you know the rest.
